1  Who we are & what this covers

These Terms govern access to the Site and participation in any of our offerings, including:

•   1:1 or individual sessions
•   Workshops and group events (virtual or in-person)
•   Organisational engagements (consulting, facilitation, or bespoke learning experiences)
•   Digital products and resources (courses, recordings, documents, downloads)
•   Newsletters, online content, and gated resources

By using the Site or booking, purchasing, or attending any offering, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site or services.

2  Orientation: how this work is different

Our work is relational, emergent, and practice-based, not prescriptive or formulaic.

We aim to cultivate capacity (presence, coherence, attunement) within complex contexts.

Nothing we offer constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions.

3  Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, our offerings are for adults (18+).

By participating, you confirm that you have legal capacity to contract and that the information you provide is accurate.

4  Booking, payments, cancellations & refunds

     4.1 Coaching (1:1 sessions)

• Bookings are confirmed upon payment (or per written invoice).
• Rescheduling: With ≥ 48 hours’ notice, we’ll find a new time. < 48 hours’ notice or a no-show: the session fee is forfeited.
• Refunds: Once a session or package has commenced, fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

     4.2 Workshops / Events (online & in-person)

• Your place is confirmed on payment.
• Cancellation by you:
  • ≥ 7 days before start: refund minus reasonable admin/venue costs or credit towards a future program (our choice).
  • < 7 days: no refund, but a name transfer may be considered.
• Cancellation or changes by us:
  We may reschedule, substitute facilitators, or cancel (e.g., due to illness, low numbers, or force majeure). If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund of fees paid for that event.
  We accept no liability for consequential costs (e.g., travel or accommodation).

     4.3 Digital Products (downloads / recordings / courses)

• Non-refundable once access or delivery has been provided (digital goods cannot be “returned”).
• Access is for the purchaser only unless otherwise stated.
• All copyright protections apply.

     4.4 Payment methods & currency

• Payments are processed via approved third-party providers (e.g., PayFast, Stripe).
• You authorise charges for selected offerings and remain responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion, or applicable taxes.

5  Scope, boundaries & client responsibility

Our work is not therapy or medical treatment and does not replace professional advice.

You are responsible for your wellbeing, participation, and choices.

You agree to engage with respect, confidentiality, and care for yourself and others.

For organisational engagements, you confirm you are authorised to contract on behalf of your organisation.

6  Confidentiality & field ethics

We treat session content as confidential, subject to legal obligations and risk-of-harm exceptions.

For group or organisational work, certain information may need to be shared among participants to enable learning outcomes.

Confidentiality boundaries will be agreed upon at the start of each engagement.

We may request permission to share anonymised case notes or patterns for research or learning purposes; you may decline.

7  Testimonials, examples & use of client material

Testimonials and examples are illustrative only and do not guarantee specific outcomes.

Where we use your name, words, or logo, we do so only with your explicit consent.

You may withdraw future use by emailing connect@sonjablignaut.com, and we’ll remove references from channels under our control.

8  Recordings, photography & publicity

Some sessions, workshops, or talks may be recorded or photographed. We will clearly indicate when this applies.

You may opt out of being recorded or photographed where feasible, by notifying us in writing in advance.

Learning resources created from recordings will use appropriate consent and privacy safeguards.

9 Intellectual Property (IP)

All materials, frameworks, names, and content — including Waycraft, Waysfinder, STAR Practice, COOL Stance, and related materials — are the intellectual property of More Beyond (Pty) Ltd or used under licence.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own learning and development.

You may not reproduce, adapt, teach, publish, sell, or distribute our materials without written consent.

For organisations, re-use within your company requires a separate licence or written agreement.

10  Safety, venues & retreats

For in-person events or retreats:

• You are responsible for your own health, travel, insurance, visas, and compliance with venue rules.
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of venues, travel providers, or accommodation hosts.

11  Third-party links & partnered offers

The Site may contain links to collaborators (e.g., Triskel, Harmonise, Embodied Wayfinding Journeys, or partner practitioners).

They operate under their own terms, pricing, and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for their content, services, or delivery.

12  Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site — including but not limited to:

• Copying or scraping content
• Reverse engineering
• Introducing malicious code
• Infringing intellectual property
• Harassing or defaming others

13  Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Services are provided with reasonable skill and care consistent with an emergent, developmental practice.

No specific outcomes are guaranteed.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, More Beyond (Pty) Ltd, Sonja Blignaut, and associates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total fees paid for the specific offering in question.

14  Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site or materials, or unlawful conduct.

15  Changes to offerings or terms

We may refine or update our offerings, pricing, or these Terms at any time.

Material changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date.

Continued use of the Site or participation in offerings constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16  Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith discussion and, if unresolved, submitted to the South African courts.
